Unable to complete a merger, Mission Critical Linux Inc. has cut nearly all its 55 workers and sold to a group of investors led by its former chairman Rick Angell.
Financial terms of the deal, which include corporate assets and liabilities, were not disclosed.
The new company will forgo unprofitable service offerings to focus on two products: DataGuard, which provides information protection on clustered computers; and NetGuard, new software that minimizes application downtime for telecom companies.
