Appro Scorpion WH300 Workstations based on AMD Opteron™ Processors offer excellent performance and system expandability for demanding compute-intensive applications.

The Appro WH300 workstation is designed for the most demanding professionals who require speed and efficiency when dealing with demanding compute-intensive applications. This workstation is ideal for complex and demanding graphic applications such as Mechanical Computer Aided Design (MCAD) and Engineering (MCAE) for automotive and aerospace, petroleum exploration and production, scientific visualization, designers, digital content creation artists, 3D modeling and CAD.

The new workstation delivers high compute performance with expandable storage capabilities. In addition it runs 32-bit applications faster while you migrate to 64-bit computing for long-term investment protection. This dual AMD Opteron™ processor workstation platform is expected to help users increase project productivity through exceptional application, visualization and data-throughput with outstanding price/performance.

Appro WH300 Key Features: Dual AMD Opteron™ processors, simultaneous 32-bit and 64-bit computing capability, HyperTransport™ Technology, up to 16GB of random access memory, up to 1.5 TB of storage space available, PCI-X support, integrated FDD and CD/DVD drive, 8x AGP graphics capabilities, choice of up to 6 internal, fixed HDDs – PATA, SATA, or SCSI or 5 hot-swappable SCSI kit or 4 hot-swappable SATA kit, ATI® and NVIDIA graphics solutions and Windows or Linux operating systems.
