Appro showcases HyperBlade Linux Grid Cluster Solution at GridToday

GridToday Conference and Expo - Philadelphia, PA - May 25, 2004 – Appro (http://www.appro.com), a leading developer of high-density, high-performance servers and InfiniCon Systems, the premier provider of shared I/O and switching solutions for next-generation server networks will be demonstrating the Appro HyperBlade Full-Cluster Solution at the Infinicon booth number 313.

Appro, teaming with AMD and Infinicon Systems, will showcase the HyperBlade Linux Grid Cluster Solution supporting up to 80-nodes/160 processors using InfiniBand's performance advantages. The Appro HyperBlade offering creates efficient, scalable grid cluster solutions for small- to mid-sized HPC environments. This demonstration features a 16-dual AMD Opteron node cluster interconnected with InfiniCon's InfinIO 3000 Switch Series supporting up to 10Gbps to run the award-winning NAMD molecular dynamics code.
