Appro's Next Generation blades offer reliability, scalability and agility meeting the key requirements for enterprise customers. It leverages the performance advantages of Infiniband, AMD Opteron processors and AMD Hypertransport technology to maximize the performance advantage of the entire blade cluster while dramatically reducing the complexity of management and administration. Stay tuned for the big announcement on Monday and stop by the booth for a technology demonstration, hands on interaction and formal customer presentations. In addition, receive a free Appro tabletop 2005 calendar!

- Storage and Cluster Demos -Appro will also demonstrate its new Storage Systems working with the Appro HyperBlade Linux Cluster solution featuring server and storage management capabilities. The Appro Storage systems are fully compatible with the Appro HyperBlade Cluster Series providing storage solutions for fast and simple data consolidation to mission-critical, high-performance data center applications. Customers can configure the device as a DAS, NAS or SAN solution that can scale according to their needs.

- Microsoft Ticket for Exciting Prizes -In addition, Appro will showcase HyperBlade Cluster Solution based on Windows Server 2003 demonstrating BladeDome remote management capabilities. This demonstration is part of the Microsoft Passport Program. The completion of any of 5 company's product demonstrations is needed to be eligible for an Xbox or all demonstrations for the grand prize drawing (42" plasma TV). Stop by Microsoft booth #1815 for more details.

AMD booth # 1841 -Appro will showcase its WH300 workstation to demo Paradigm's newest VoxelGeo - Volume-Based Seismic Interpretation software. The demo will be displayed on dual-head flat panel monitors and will run on 64-bit Redhat Enterprise Linux 3.0. Powered by Hyper-Transport technology and 64-bit computing.

ASC booth # 403 (Sandia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories)- The Appro HyperBlade Cluster solution will be part of the Sandia's StorCloud demonstrations at the SC04. Appro provides a cluster solution consisting of 48 dual Opteron Blades running BladeDome Remote Management Software to support the following demonstration: High Accuracy Quantum Theory Computations with the Massively Parallel Quantum Chemistry (MPQC) Program. The StorCloud demonstration challenge applications that demand fast transfer rates and/or use multiple file systems in interesting or comparative ways.
