HPCwire: The House Science Committee reported out five bills that would help discover near-Earth asteroids, improve the energy efficiency of the U.S. metals industry, strengthen U.S. supercomputing capabilities, honor the scientific contributions of African American women, and help states address meth lab contamination (H.R. 1023, H.R. 1158, H.R. 28, H.Con.Res. 96, and H.R. 798, respectively).
