Power.org is introducing a new series of technical seminars hosted by its academic members. The first seminar will be hosted by the Joint Supercomputer Center (JSCC) in Moscow, Russia, on November 30, 2005.
The seminar will feature sessions covering the areas of academic and scientific applications, Power Architecture and Linux solutions, the latest details about the MareNostrum supercomputer located at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, the JSCCs scientific projects concerning Power, and much more. Attendees will get a chance to hear from and interact with technical leaders, Russian researchers and academics, and Power.org members about scientific applications and Power Architecture solutions.
We are looking for original presentations and demonstrations about innovative technologies, challenging problem solutions, experiences, and lessons learned regarding Power Architecture. Speakers and panelists will be chosen based on one-page abstracts submitted by November 13, 2005.
