ASPEED Software Takes ACCELLERANT on the Road
Posted by Michael McDonough, Friday March 10 2006 @ 04:09PM EST

New York (March 10, 2006) — ASPEED Software Corporation (www.aspeed.com) will showcase its ACCELLERANT software at premier financial, pharmaceutical and technology events this month. The road show reflects rising demand in all industries for solutions that optimize application performance, especially in grid and distributed environments.

Leading Wall Street firms, financial institutions, energy providers and pharmaceutical giants rely on ACCELLERANT for exponential improvements in performance and operational benefits in parallel distributed computing environments. Through its patent-pending technology, ACCELLERANT delivers faster response times and more precise analysis for computationally intense applications, without altering the innate algorithmic code and logic critical to effective decision-making.

Throughout March, ASPEED highlights its multi-sector offerings at the following events:

- ASCPT 2006 Annual Meeting (March 8-11; Marriott Waterfront Hotel; Baltimore) At this event for the world’s leading pharmaceutical executives, researchers and professionals, attendees can experience ACCELLERANT for NONMEM, the solution that clears the path for better, faster and safer answers in the evaluation and testing of drug innovations. Through its partnership with GloboMax, ASPEED is offering free evaluations of the product at www.aspeed.com/advantage/ACC4NONMEM_Eval.php.

- Dealing with Technology (March 28; Reuters Building; New York) Kurt Ziegler, ASPEED’s evp of development, will headline a panel discussion highlighting the cost and operational benefits grid computing brings to financial professionals from investment banks, brokerage houses, trading firms and other financial institutions. He will cite specific examples from Wall Street firms using ACCELLERANT 3.5 for rapid advancement of critical business functions, such as hedging strategies, portfolio balancing, risk management, securities pricing and end-of-day processing.

- OpRisk USA 2006 (March 29-30; New York Marriott Financial Center; New York) ASPEED will demonstrate how ACCELLERANT 3.5 leads the charge for faster answers and better management to the most sensitive business processes, allowing risk management professionals more aggressive, precise and better-informed decision-making.

These events follow a highly successful presentation at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco, where ACCELLERANT was showcased among leading Intel-endorsed technologies and innovations enhancing performance within the manufacturers’ product line.
