Networks & Servers: HP (HP.com) will refresh its line of AMD Opteron processor-based, industry-standard HP ProLiant servers to help customers maximize the performance and value of their business-critical databases.
Adding to the success of more than a decade of joint development with AMD, HP will add the new Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors to the largest portfolio of Opteron-based servers in the industry. Worldwide availability begins on March 20, delivering the HP ProLiant DL145 G2, DL385 and DL585 rack-based, density-optimized servers, plus the full line of Opteron-based server blades - the HP ProLiant BL25p, BL35p and BL45p.
