Storix Signs Joint Marketing Agreement with Clark Data Systems
Posted by Jeffrey Swartz, Tuesday August 08 2006 @ 10:17AM EDT

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 8, 2006--Storix Inc. announced today that it has signed a partnership agreement with Clark Data Systems (CDS), a computer network development, service and support company based in Quakertown, Penn. CDS will bundle its routers with Storix's System Backup Administrator (SBAdmin) backup and disaster recovery software for Linux and AIX.

"We chose Storix System Backup Administrator for three reasons," said Robert Clark, president of Clark Data Systems. "First, it's an easy-to-use solution. Second, its backup and disaster recovery capabilities let us replace our Linux-based routers and software very quickly. And third, they provide excellent support."

"One of our goals at Storix is to build a distribution channel that includes strong regional partners," explained Anthony Johnson, president and CEO of Storix. "Clark Data Systems, which has served Pennsylvania's Bucks and Montgomery Counties for almost two decades, helps us achieve that goal by providing channel coverage through its regional focus."

Storix's System Backup Administrator is the most flexible full-system Linux/AIX backup and bare metal recovery program on the market. Unlike typical "disk image" restore, SBAdmin allows companies to completely recover an existing system in a single step. It also allows System Administrators to easily reconfigure and restore a system onto completely different hardware or to provision new systems. This ability significantly reduces planned and unplanned downtime along with their associated costs.
