Leith to Expand Panasas' Customer Base

PANASAS NAMES BRUCE LEITH MANAGING DIRECTOR, INTERNATIONAL

Leith to Expand Panasas' Customer Base and Partnerships in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

FREMONT, CA — January 18, 2007 — Panasas, Inc., the leader in clustered storage solutions for the High Performance Computing (HPC) market, today announced Bruce Leith has joined the company as the managing director, international, responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC). Leith will be responsible for sales, marketing and business development efforts in EMEA and APAC. Leith brings more than 25 years of general management experience with extensive international knowledge in the software and computer systems industry to the Panasas management team.

Most recently, Leith held senior management roles at Fair Isaac/London Bridge Software including international managing director and vice president of strategic partners where he was responsible for managing strategic partnerships, recruiting sales and management teams, opening new sales offices and acquiring new customers. Leith’s career also includes 13 years of sales management experience at IBM. Leith holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Studies and Computing from Twickenham College of Technology.
