New features announcement:
In addition to its server-side adaptive scheduling and performance profiling capabilities, JPPF now provides fine tuning of the performance profile on each node. This feature is a major extension to the range of situations where JPPF brings a perforamce speed-up to an application.
The existing sample grid computing applications can now be run and controlled from a graphical user interface.
Two guiding principles of JPPF are thus illustrated:
- grid computing is user-friendly
- JPPF brings an unequaled ease of use, as a sample grid applications can be ready to run in a matter of minutes
