Mobile access to scalable solutions at ISC'07
Posted by Lukasz Wilczynski, Friday June 22 2007 @ 05:47AM EDT

Krakow, June 21, 2007 -- At the forthcoming International Supercomputing Conference in Dresden (26-29th of June), GridwiseTech, a vendor-independent expert on scalable solutions, will present demo versions of applications for selected business sectors. At the booth D16, visitors will have a unique chance to see mobile access to grid-complied applications.

The engineering demo will present how the process of creating the visualisation of sophisticated simulations can be reduced dramatically. This feature can be used especially during presentations before company boards or during meetings with a client. The technology should also be of interest to media representatives, who will have a chance to prepare animated material from e.g. a disaster site and air it faster than competetive studios do.

The financial demo will demostrate how to effectively speed up sophisticated calculations like VaR by means of the smartphone interface. This solution enables making quick analyses also outside the main office, at the same time keeping all the important data secure on the company's servers. Thanks to that, risk managers or financial advisors will not only speed up their tasks, thus being more competetive, but also be able to present the outcomes live to the client.

At the GridwiseTech's booth D16, visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the Principles of Scalable Solutions and receive a jigsaw puzzle with beautiful nature motif. In order to schedule a private meeting with GridwiseTech team during the conference, you can use the GridwiseTech contact form.
