Cluster Resources Announces New Director of Business Development

PROVO, Utah - January 18, 2008 - Cluster Resources, a leading provider of HPC and data centre resource management and scheduling software and the developers of the Moab family of products, announced the appointment of Ian Gilbert to the position of Director, Business Development, EMEA.

In this role, Gilbert will be responsible for expanding and directing Cluster Resources' presence in the Europe, Middle East and Africa markets. He will lead the UK-based business development team in its management of strategic relations within EMEA. Ian brings more than 20 years of experience in the development of innovative strategies for the HPC industry.

Prior to joining Cluster Resources, Gilbert managed the HPC business for HP in the UK, and more recently was Vice President Of Business Development for Scali, an experienced player in system management of large Linux clusters. Gilbert also has wide experience with HPC application software vendors, and set up and ran the EMEA business for Exa Corporation (Powerflow), a leading provider of computational fluid dynamics software.
